Precision fibre-align station

At EFFECT, I dedicated 5 years as a Process Engineer, specializing in the fibre alignment phase of the packaging process. Not only did I conceptualize and design, but I also built and consistently maintained both the stations and their corresponding software. Upon my joining in 2017, the fibre alignment was notably inefficient - taking up to an hour, proving to be challenging, and often resulting in unsatisfactory yields. However, under my guidance, this process underwent a transformative change. A few years later, the fibre alignment became a benchmark process within our facility. It's now managed seamlessly by the operations team, boasting a stellar yield rate of over 95% and an impressive average process duration of just 7 minutes, peaking at a unit per hour (UPH) rate of 12.
